Overview

HeartTrackPro is a professional heart rate monitoring and tracking app available for iOS and Android. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Data Collection

HeartTrackPro collects heart rate data (BPM) and RR interval data from your connected devices (Polar H10 chest strap or Apple Watch) solely to display and record your workout sessions. This data remains on your device and is never collected, stored on external servers, or transmitted anywhere.

Data Usage

• Heart Rate Data: BPM and RR interval data collected from your connected device is stored locally on your device only
• Session Recordings: Workout session data including timestamps, heart rate, and duration are stored locally on your device
• Settings and Preferences: Your configuration such as max heart rate and device selection is stored locally on your device only
• No Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information

Data Storage

All data used by HeartTrackPro is stored locally on your device. We do not have servers that collect or store your information. Your heart rate data, session recordings, and preferences are yours alone.

Third-Party Services

HeartTrackPro does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no ads in the app.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or transmit any of your data to third parties. Your heart rate data and session recordings stay on your device.

Bluetooth Permission

HeartTrackPro requests Bluetooth permission to connect to your Polar H10 chest strap heart rate monitor. This connection is used solely for receiving heart rate data during your workout sessions. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device's Settings app under Privacy & Security → Bluetooth.

Health Data Permission

On iOS, HeartTrackPro may request permission to read heart rate data from Apple HealthKit when using your Apple Watch as a data source. You can revoke this permission at any time through Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.

On Android, HeartTrackPro may request permission to read heart rate data from Health Connect or compatible wearable devices. You can revoke this permission at any time through Settings → Apps → HeartTrackPro → Permissions, or through the Health Connect app.

This access is used only for the functionality you request and no data is transmitted elsewhere.

CSV Export

HeartTrackPro allows you to export your session data as CSV files. These exports are generated locally on your device and shared only through the method you choose (email, files, etc.). We have no access to your exported data.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because HeartTrackPro stores all data locally on your device, we do not retain any of your data on our servers — we have no servers that hold your information. Your data remains on your device for as long as you keep the app installed.

You have full control over your data and can delete it at any time using any of the following methods:

• Delete individual sessions: Remove specific session recordings directly within the app
• On iOS: Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage → HeartTrackPro → Offload App or Delete App. Deleting the app permanently removes all locally stored data
• On Android: Go to Settings → Apps → HeartTrackPro → Storage → Clear Data, or uninstall the app to permanently remove all locally stored data
• Reinstall the app: Uninstalling and reinstalling HeartTrackPro will remove all previously stored data

Once you delete the app or clear its data, all your information is permanently removed from your device and cannot be recovered. Since we do not store or back up your data on any external server, there is nothing for us to delete on our end.

Children's Privacy

HeartTrackPro does not knowingly collect any information from children. All app data is stored locally on the user's device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
